| | Rules For Commenting On Poems « Thread Started on Dec 17, 2004, 3:39pm » | |
To help keep the forum running smoothly and to make sure everyone feels comfortable posting here, some rules have been set forth. Everyone, including admin and moderators, must follow any and all rules. Admin will look over any and all posts that have been reported and take necessary action if the post is found to be breaking a rule.
Admin reserves the right to delete anyones account or any posts at any time. We are NOT responsible for any damage or loss. Make sure you save anything you want to keep to your computer before posting it here.
1. No harsh, rude, vulgar or nasty comments on anyones work, period. If you have a negative comment, make sure your comment is posted in a way that the author of the poem can learn from it. Negative comments should be constructive. If you post a comment that is deemed too harsh by admin, it is grounds for immediate account termination.
2. Do not include anyones full name, address, phone number or any other identifying information in any post.
3. Posts that are deemed threatening, over violent, or disturbing will be deleted immediately. Admin will determine whether a post needs to be deleted or not. This includes suicide letters or anything about personal injury. We reserve the right to release any and all information about you that is stored on the forum to law enforcement if needed. If we feel you are going to harm yourself, we reserve the right to personally contact a law enforcement agency with any and all details we have.
4. Excessive profanity is not allowed in comments or anywhere on this forum. In fact, comments should include as little profanity as possible.
5. Some authors choose not to have others comment on their works. If you find a poem with the notification that the author does not wish to have comments on the poem, don't comment.
Use common sense when commenting on someone elses work. Don't say anything that you wouldn't want someone saying to you, in other words, don't be overly harsh. Comments, whether good or bad, should be left in a manner that the author can learn from it.
